Coming SOON...XPirata! A dry camping and outdoor venue.
The site is roughly 7 acres total and consists of flat land, hillside, small caves, and a partial ocean view.
Located on Calle La Estación in the scenic area of Terranova in the municipality of Quebradillas (a.k.a. The Pirate's Hideout) along the northwest coast of the island. This street is the old sugar train route. Calle La Estación translates to the train 'Station Street'.
Calle Estación starts at PR-2 (PR Highway 2) and extends to Calle Panorámica. The street connects El Mirador de Guajataca, Merendero de Guajataca, XPirata, Puente Blanco (1922 train bridge), Puerto Hermina MTB (Mountain Bike Trail), Puente La Bellaca (1906 suspended train bridge), and also Puerto Hermina (beach and ruins). Calle Estación is frequented by walkers, joggers, runners, cyclists, mountain bikers, and others...including cars.
Various restaurants can also be found along these streets.
Pirates, sugar barons, and natural beauty!
The municipality of Quebradillas is a playground for nature lovers and those looking for outdoor excitement, like camping and hiking. The town derives its name from the large number of streams flowing through it; Quebradillas means "small streams". The name Guajataca comes from the name Wahataka, a Taíno chief who lived in this area.
Quebradillas sits directly along Puerto Rico's spectacular Northern Karst belt, famous for its dramatic dissolved limestone terrain, lush jungle-covered mogotes (haystack hills), deep sinkholes, and ancient cave systems. It offers an incredible, off-the-beaten-path alternative to the island's more crowded areas.
